The purpose of this deliverable is to describe the main aspects of Dynamic Pricing which constitutes a certain type of price based Demand Response (DR) programs. There are various formats of Dynamic Pricing that may be implemented according to the specific characteristics of the relative power system and the respective power market. All these programs are presented thoroughly and the relative market potential in the Greek Power System is examined. Finally, special attention is given to an evaluation of the impact of DR programs in the generation expansion planning and fuel mixture of the Greek Power System for a time period up to 2033. For this purpose, an appropriate simulation tool is used that takes into account certain system characteristics and their evolution during the examined time period, such as load demand requirements and RES penetration. In order to obtain safe conclusions about the impact of the various DR programs, alternative scenarios are examined assuming different values for certain system characteristics and the obtained results are presented thoroughly.
